What do you prefer? World-centric or character-centric stories? Immersive worldbuilding, or softer, more familiar places? Below is a quick description of the worlds in the COMPENDIUM, to help get your journey started.
RELARIS: The oldest, biggest world of mine, and technically the universe in which all worlds lie. This world is deeply immersive, filled with dozens of alien creatures, plants, and biomes, and a numerous amount of languages. Spanning 14,000 years of history, there is hardly an end to Relaris, and whatever you have in mind, she's probably got something to your taste. Ancient manuscripts, ruins of forgotten kingdoms, biological research papers, magic-filled journeys, dystopias, utopias, shady corporations, found family tropes.........the list goes on. If you're as much of a nerd as me, this is your place to be!
KRECIJA: Technically a continent on the planet Relaris, this place stands a world apart from the mainland and takes on lore of its own. It is the closest sister realm to the broader Relaris creation; in fact, its lore heavily affects the other's main story. Herein is the fabled Krecijan Manuscript, an account of creation and prophecies written 11,000 years ago (Ancient Attestations) and 1,000 years ago (Modern Attestations). For a deeper insight into what may become of Relaris at its end, as well as how it all came to be, the Manuscript provides all you could ever want to know. If you're into a more ancient-lore, Old English, runic alphabet on yellowed parchment vibe, you'd probably like Krecija.
GINDOOGOS: This is a remnant of my angsty, rebellious teenage phase. It, in the canon, is a separate planet/parallel universe to Relaris; in practice, it is a wasteland where the only thing that moves is probably inspired by the analog horror phase of YouTube horror. If you're into that, go take a look.
GODWIT ISLE: This little island off the coast of the Krecijan continent contains probably the most complete piece of Relaris. This is the simplest realm, built around a story and its characters, and is most alike Earth. Its story and characters are, actually, some of my favorites, and it has made me cry on multiple occasions. If you like slice-of-life, western, or soft worldbuilding-type stories, or if you want to get emotionally attached to some characters, or, perhaps, you'd prefer a book over reading wiki pages, this is the spot for you. Godwit roughly means "good creature", and boy howdy, are these folks on Godwit Isle good creatures!
